Access reverts to default date format

Hi everybody

I have a field with a custom date format tied to it mm/dd/yy.
If I enter an invalid value of 13/10/05, access automatically resets the value to 10/05/13 and accepts the input as valid.
This appears to be a bug with Access.

Has anyone ever come across this issue before?

Cheers

You will get a better response if this is posted in the Access forum.

However, if you impose a Format function on the date control like ...

Format([TextboxName], "mm/dd/yyyy") it should throw a fault that you can capture.

If you have any further questions on this, please post in the Access forum.
