Problems with Tabs

P: 3
Hello All! I am building a Contacts Database that keeps track of personal contacts. The main section of my form is a tab, with 2 pages. The first keeps track of discussions with an individual, and the second keeps track of reminders associated with that individual. Outside of the tab, I have all the regular fields like first name, last name, address, etc. I also have a few buttons for adding a new contact, deleting a contact, etc.
Problem is, when I click on my "new contact" button, the Tab displays whatever was last viewed. If I cthen click in the tab, it goes away, but it's annoying to be looking at that info when it should be blank. I know there are commands like refresh, repaint, and requery, but I'm not sure what event to associate them with. HELP! Many thanks.

I apologize, I was a little incorrect before. When I click on the "New Record" Button, the info on the tab is blank, BUT AS SOON AS I TYPE ANYTHING, it defaults to whatever was last there. Thanks, Adam

What's the code behind your add record button?
