Change Access Icon

P: 58
Does anyone know how to make a company logo the icon for an Access database?

I know how to change the icons for all file types or programs, I just need to know how to do it for each individual database.

Do you want to change all databases on the particular PC to show this or is it specific to a single one?

If it's changing the icon for MDB files in general then go to Windows Explorer (Windows-E) then select Tools / Folder Options and select the File Types tab.
Select MDB then click on Advanced.
Next click on 'Change Icon' and set it up to point to your image (hoping it's in the right format)
If it's just for the one database then you probably want to create a shortcut and configure it in a similar way to use the icon created from your company logo.
BTW I'm doing this on an XP SP2 PC. Other Windows OSes are similar if not exactly the same.

There's a software/utility that's called "IconChanger" which can change the icon of any file (and not just file type's icon), so it is suitable for what you need.

Cheers.
