Store a space ast last character

Hi all
I want to store a value in a field (datatype text) that has a space as
the last character. When I save this value Access deletes the last
space. Can it be done? what am I missing.

Best regards
Peter

Pardon my not answering your question directly, but would
you be comfortable adding it later - on the fly...

"This is my saved string" & Chr$(32) - or- & " " ???

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your answer,
The value is entered via a form with a bound text box.

If you're not too particular about it's being a Chr$(32), you can
click in a table text field and type

This is my string == and as soon as you press the "g", type
ALT-255 (ya gotta press the "255" on the numeric keypad)

That'll do.

try the ALT-225 thing

it ain't the same as a chr$(32) but most folks ain't
gonna know the difference.
