list box

i have a list box that i would ike to select a name and enter what is
selected into another field on the form.i have tried to put the list
box value into the control source of the other field but it just enters
a number instead of the name in the list box.
how cani get it to enter the name that is in the list box ??

As far as I know, though you can (as was suggested) enlarge the ListBox
itself, you cannot change the size of the scroll bar. You'd need to use some
other Controls to accomplish the same purpose, or get very intimate with the
Windows APIs. Doing the same thing with other Controls will be less work,
but may not be as user-friendly. Command Buttons, for example, can be
resized, and their text caption rendered in a larger font/typeface.

The size of scroll bars is controlled by your Windows settings. If they use the
touch screen for everything on that computer then they should make the
adjustment there.
