Adding A Single Record From One Form To Another

P: 6
I have a database where an employee enters data about a shoplifter into a form and it is stored in one table. Then the employee press a button and another form form appears that has some data from the previous form all ready present in text boxes. I want the employee to be able to press save and have the second form save the data in another table.

In the second form I made each textbox control source the text box from the previous form but when I hit save it does not save in my second table. Any ideas?

I know this seems stupid to save the data in two forms, but at some point in time the original data in the first table is deleted and the second table has the important data that we never want to be deleted.

In the second form set 'Data Entry' property to True.
Bind it to the table you want to add the data to.
The data should be ready on the form now for saving.
