How link two table using a query

Dear All,
I have two tables that contain same fields but different month records. Now i want link two table to search perticular Id data from both table. (Example: In the both table i have the Name Id. Now i want to search the records belongs to the ID person using query.

Create a new query.
Add both tables required.
Drag ID tfield from one table to ID table on other to define the link.
