Importing text file on daily basis

I have a text file which I import on a daily basis - it goes into the same
table, is set up exactly the same each time. The only thing that is
different is the file name.

Is there anything more automatic I can set up to help with the import of
this file? Sometimes I might leave it for a few days so will have a few to
put in.

If you code, look at the docmd transferdatabase and transfertext
functions

If not, when you are importing it look in the bottom left hand corner
of the import dialog. You will notice an advanced button. If you
click that Access will allow you to save an import template that holds
all your specifics. Once you save it, you can use it each time you
import.

If you dont code, but want to automate it more, try playing with the
macros. Look at the same functions as mentioned above.
Good luck
