Access - alphabet buttons

1
Hi all,
I've created a simple contact management database.
I would like to add buttons to it with letters, clicking which would take you to the first record (sorted by company name) of the database starting with the appropriate letter.
I've been trying to find info online and am probably asking the question wrong as cannot find an answer. Do not have much time on my hands to keep on searching so would much appreciate any HELP, explanation, links etc.
Cheers. Lilia

Create a ComboBox with the letters in it (or simply allow entry to a TextBox).
In the AfterUpdate event, change the form's filter property (Me.Filter) to [CompanyName] Like 'x*' - where x is the letter got from the Text- or ComboBox.
