Connecting Access databases and webpage form submissions

I have an access database, and I have an online registration form. I'd like to connect the two (the online form is programmed in PHP).

Can anyone point me in the right direction to learn how to do this (tutorials, etc) - I can't seem to get the right search terms and google is not providing me with what I'm looking for (mostly because I'm not sure how to ask).

Thanks so much
Amanda
