Missing control in a form //Access 2002 & Access 2003.

P: 2
Hi everyone

I wrote a VB event that can be run from a form The code allows the user to open a file from the system using an MS dialog control.

It works fine in one office (4 computers ) but when I place in in another office the MS Dislog control is missing??? and get a dialog box to that effect . The files are in System32 folder of windows. Access 2002 & Access 2003.

Why would this happen ?

I am on vacation now and don't have access to the program but can it be as simple as setting a security level to execute code in the form?

your comments are much appreciated

It's not absolutely clear from what you're telling us, but I would guess that the second office may have some libraries missing.
Go to References from the Tools menu in the VBA window.
Any missing libraries should show up as Missing.

It varies, some come as standard - others don't.
Try getting the files they refer to from another PC (that's what I do sometimes if I don't know where they were installed from).
