When using DAO user newpassword function how do you get old password
with out prompting the user? Or how can you retreive it without
prompting user?

Use an empty string, "", for the old password. If the user is the owner of
the database or a member of the admins group, it'll work. It'll fail if a
regular user tries to change a password this way. If it's a regular user,
you *must* prompt them for the old password if you want to change it with
code. Otherwise they'll have to use the GUI to change their own password.
