Sounds like you'd better hire somebody quick. No, seriously, this forum works a lot better if you ask specific questions.
I'll take a shot at helping a little. Barcode readers are just data entry appliances. If your program is at a text box where data can be entered, you could use the keyboard to enter some data, or you could shoot a barcode with your barcode reader, and the result of the read dumps into the text box as if you had typed it.
So, really, you probably don't have to do anything special in Access to take advantage of the barcode reader.
