Trouble with reports -

HiI am having a nightmare trying to get the information I want on a report. I have developed a database (Tables, Forms, Queries & Reports). I am now trying to get the report to only display the information I require. E.G. My database is for the tracking of client assets. And I want the report to give me all the data as well as being able to select individual client assets. I can do this by doing a number of queries & then creating reports from them, this seem a long way around. Is their a way I can ask the one report to only give me the information I select.

In your reports you can use tables and queries.

If the view of your tables isn't suitable to be a part of your report you need a query to transform your information...

Remember that the tables are to store the data as economical as possible, as simple as possible... Coz the databases are to store a lot of data

And the queries are to vizualize the data as we need!

The queries are sthing like reports but dynamic and interactive reports!

Till the others ones are static as it is on the paper! Just formated to sort it on a paper... If there isn't installed printer it shouldn't open! ;)
