Radio buttons values other than 1 or 2 added in table

I placed a radio button combination with label text: Mr or Mrs.

I the table it then adds 1 or 2 depending what I choosed.
How to have the values Mr / Mrs added in the table insterad of 1 and 2?

In the table properties I added "Mr";"Mrs" under Row source but that
won't help.
Row source type: Value List
The display control is Combo Box

OptionGroup frames will only store numeric values. If you want text you would
have to use code to store it or choose a different control like a listBox or
ComboBox.

You could store 1 and 2 and then use the function Choose([FieldName], "Mr",
"Mrs") for display purposes or you could store 0 and 1 and use the format
property "Mrs";;"Mr";

Rick,

Where do I have to fill in the Choose function and under which object
and procedure?
I guess under the object that has to display the Mr. / Mrs.

Beside this, I have also tried to choose the "Mrs";;"Mr" at the format
property, but noppes. Do you mean the format at the field properties
(tab: Format, Format) from the form? Or the table properties (tab
General -Format)?

You have a field in a table that contains numbers right? You would use Choose()
in reports, forms, and queries where you want to evaluate the field value and
display "Mr" and "Mrs" instead of the numeric value.

What numbers are you storing? The format property has four sections separated by
semi-colons and each section controls the display of "positive values",
"negative values", "zero", and "null" respectively. If you are storing the
numbers 1 and 2 then a format property will not help you. If you store two
numbers that each fall into separate groups as defined above then it should
work.
