converted database

I just upgraded from A97 to 2003 and converted my database. How can I get my
controls (mainly command buttons) to take on the updated windows look? If I
make a new command button, even on a new form, it takes on the old style
look.

I'm assuming you're talking about the rounded corners on the Command
Buttons. That look is dependent on the operating system display
parameters. If you have the XP o/s you can change your display settings
by right-clicking on the Desktop and selecting Properties. In the
dialog box "Display Properties" under the Appearance tab, in the
"Windows and buttons" Combo Box select "Windows XP style." Then click
OK.

Actually I found what I was looking for. In Access itself under Tools |
Options on the Forms/Reports Tab there is an option for "Use Windows Themed
Controls. By default, it is checked on new databases but on converted it is
left unchecked.
