Tab Control on Access

I'm really having a tough time getiing the Tab Control to accept the various objects and controls (List Boxes, and others).
In Form design mode, after creating a 2 page Tab Control, I have dragged the objects (produced by the Form Wizard) onto the selected page. Then I discovered 2 things.
At first the objects were not visible. This I managed to sort out by using the Format menu and "send back" the tab page. Now all the objects are visible. BUT... They are also all visible on page 2. If I delete someting on page 2, it is also deleted on page 1.
This is not what I was taught! It is supposed to be a simple matter of dragging the objects you want on page one, to page one, and those you want on page two, to page two.
For some reason the objects are not embedding themselves on the pages of the Tab Control. I have worked through the various properties of both the pages in the tab control, and the objects, but cannot get this to work.
Please someone help me with this, as I need to do this quite urgently.

Hi

When you create a control for Tab control you need to be in the tab control before inserting the new one! If no there is no association!

Hi PEB,
I've been away and have just picked up your reply. Thank you for responding. I'm unsure that I understand you. I select the Tab Control object, then try to move an object onto it. Still not working. Any othe suggestions?

There's really no "moving" the already created control onto the tabbed page. You need to click on the tab page to select it THEN click on the control in the toolbar and place it on the tabbed page.
