I have built a database that will look at the primary table and send an email to the email address in the table. My Question is this: I want to script in VBA the following to appear in a text box (I called myDate) on my form.

Notice Sent : "RecDate" = Where My Date is Date of notification

Here is the line of code:

Dim RecDate As Variant '-- Rec date for e-mail text

RecDate = [Forms]![Term]![myDate]

I know it has got to be DoCmd. something ... But I don't know
