You don't.
OptionGroup values are a number, not text.
You can always show a wanted text on a form or in a report in place of
the number value by using an IIf() function:
=IIf([OptionGroup] = 1,"Large",IIf([OptionGroup] = 2,
"Medium","Small"))

a Choose() function:
=Choose([OptionGroup],"Large","Medium","Small")
or
a DlookUp() function where you have a table with each text assigned to
a number value. Then whenever you need to show it's text value, you
would use
=DLookUp("TextField]","TableName","[TextID] = " & Me![OptionGroup])

In any case, there is no need to save the text.
