Interactive Calendar Help

Yeah, the name says it all. So I have a switchboard that auto pops up and I need my users to be able to input a specific date. I tried to use the built in Calendar Control 11.0 but I seem to be a noob. The user can click through months and years, but not select a specific day within the month displayed.

In the end I need users to be able to input a date as user-friendly and prettilly as possible. Ideas? Please be sure to spell things out as I'm not used to the vernacular at all.

Thank you very much for your time. (I'm trying my best to teach myself instead of relying on others).

Put your calendar control on an unbound form. Create two text boxes, txtStartDate and txtEndDate. Create a command button. Behind this button put some code that will carry out some actions. Code and actions will depend on what you use the dates for.

silly as it may sound, i get the coding and all that - how do i get the calendar to an unbound form?

this was solved - it actually had nothing to do with the calendar itself but the report as a whole, which disallowed edits.
