File opens as read only from disc

Hi, Probably a simple question, but when I copy an access file to CD, it opens as 'read only' from the disc. How do the people receiving the disc open and use /edit the database? How do they remove the 'read only' thing? Thanks Kerry

I do believe, once they copy the file to their desktop, they can right-click the file, choose Properties, and on the bottom of the General tab, they can click "off" the Read Only attribute.
