Waiting for a file

Hi,

I try to find a system, that once a typical files is written to a folder, Access detects it and import the content of the file. Once the file is imported, it is erased.

I have already the codes to import and to delete these files, but how can i write the codes to keep Access in stand by for looking to new data and react once it's present?

Thanks for helping,

Dirkske

Hi,

Maybe you need to use the On timer property in your switchboard! So in every timer interval Access will check the respective folder

Best regards
