Sorry, I don't have a book recommendation for you. I have a different
recommendation. If you've never programmed in a language other than VBA,
then jumping into a language in the C family isn't going to be easy. VBA
allows you to get away with a lot of bad habits that will lead to severe
problems in strongly typed languages like C. Since C# and VB.Net both
produce CLR (Common Language Runtime) modules, you could migrate first to VB.
Net and learn the .Net framework, then migrate to C#. VB.Net would look
familiar to you so once you feel comfortable with that language, you can
transition over to C#. When you get stuck on syntax, you can always fall
back on VB.Net to meet your deadlines. C# programmers make more money than
VB.Net programmers, so you don't want to stop learning at VB.Net
