copy from subform a to subform b

P: 7
hi, i have 2 subforms on a form(Form1) (SubformA and SubformB). each subform is on a seperate page of a tab control.

each of the subforms displays data in datasheet view. each of the subforms are based on their own seperate table(TableA and TableB). these 2 tables are linked to Table1, via a one to many relationship.

Each of the tables have similar Fields. I want SubformB to update automatically once i have entered in a new record to Subform A.

Please help

So if I understand well, You need to copy the entred record in FormA to Table B?

Or it's a syncronisation between the 2 tables... Seenig the information about this record in Table A to Update the same record in tableB with the same value?

In this cases you need an event procedure in Your FormA

That with docmd.runsql "YOUR SQL" syncronize the data

The tip here is to know what event procedure to use

And what kind of query use.... Update query if there is syncronisation btwn records or Append query if there is add of new record...

Maybe both...

Best regards!
