Forms/New/Pivot Table Wizard question

I have A97 and A2003. I created a form using the Pivot Table wizard.
This creates an unbound form with an embedded OLE object containing a
Pivot table in Excel.

There are 2 controls when the form is created; the Excel spreadsheet
object and a button to "Edit Pivot Table" The code for the button executes
Me!PivotTable.Verb = acOLEVerbOpen
Me!PivotTable.Action = acOLEActivate

Is there a way to refresh the pivot table? Each time I open the Excel
spreadsheet or dbl-click the Spreadsheet, I need to "refresh" the data.
Is there a way I can refresh the spreadsheet automatically upon
opening it?

When I open the spreadsheet, even after refeshing the data, the Filter
option is grayed out. I am using this spreadsheet to display a
schedule; The project name and date worked on the project are my row
headings. The employee name that works on the projects are my column
headers. The hours worked by each employee makes up the data area.

I would like to filter the records to show 1 week at a time if at all
possible.

Is there a way to set the filter of the Excel spreadsheet when it is
opened? Or pass a new recordsource (same data) with a Where clause?
