access97, printed output does not match screen input

I've got a text box, width = 4.25", font = Sans Serif, font size = 8
for a 'memo' field
1) I enter the following data as four lines

TAG : Glycol transfer Fluid : Glycol S.G. : ?? Temp
: 104 F Vis : ?? NPSHa :
?? Suction : ??

A . FMC Positive Displacement Plunger Pump

2) Now, my report has a text box with the same characteristics as the
form, but it prints

TAG : Glycol transfer Fluid : Glycol S.G. : ?? Temp
: 104 F Vis:
?? NPSHa : ?? Suction : ??

A . FMC Positive Displacement Plunger Pump
3) If I change the width to 4.17", it starts "Vis" on the second line,
but the rest of the line doesn't line
up

TAG : Glycol transfer Fluid : Glycol S.G. : ?? Temp
: 104 F Vis : ?? NPSHa : ??
Suction : ??
am I using the wrong control in my form / report ? should it be an RTF
control ?
what else can be done to make sure the report duplicates the form data
exactly ?
does the printer driver used matter ?

If you make your controls "plenty wide" on both the form and report and use
hard returns (<Enter>) then they should have the same line-breaks. If you
want to get "soft" breaks )line-wrapping) to match up you're not going to
have much luck unless you use a mono-spaced font like Courier.
