Help importing

I export some data from access to excel, then I update the data by
importing it. The way I update the records is relating them with a
unique ID, Is there a way to add a new record ? One without an ID?
thanks

Why not create an import specification and do not import the ID field?

If all you are updating are the autonumber fields, the database will do
that for you. IF that's not the case, explain further what you're
trying to do.

Thanks,
The Whole idea is to create a database to export companies data from
Access to excel. Work with it in Excel, mainly update some numbers and
adding new rows. Then I want to import this data in the access and
update the records I already have and add the new records.
I don´t know how to check If the record is new and then update it..
Thanks
