List box question

2
Have created a list box that contains data from 1 table. I would like to select one record from the list box and update the record; this action should obviously update values in the table for that particular record. How can i do that?

-----------
When you create the list box use the wizard that Access provides. Respond to each question.
-- 1/ look up the values in a table or query...select table
-- 2/ select the table with the values you want to select from
-- 3/ select the fields you want to display in your list
-- 4/ size the box as you want
-- 5/ Now, this is where you get to tell it where to store the value. I am guessing you want this value stored in a table you are updating. So, choose 'store that value in this field' and then it will give you a drop down list of your table fields. Select the field you want to receive the value into.
-- 6/ Now click finish.
Note 1/ When you use a list box, the selected value doesn't save unless you click/tab out of the list box.
Note 2/ When you look at the properties of your list box, the field you are storing the list value in is the ControlSource.

Hope this is what you were looking for.
