sql drivers

hi !

i am trying to connect to an SQL Database with Access as the front end.
i can connect on a machine with windows xp but the server i'm trying to
connect to is using windows 2000 and the ODBC drivers for SQL wont
install on the win 2000 server ????
any ideas ?????

It sounds like either the driver is incompatible with Win2K or the
server is wonky. See if the people who support the driver can help you.

BTW, I hope you understand that:

1) This problem really has nothing to do with MS_Access (i.e. is
actually off-topic), and

2) You probably don't need to install any ODBC driver on the SQL
server, just on the client machines that are trying to access the data
on the server.
