Hey, could someone please tell me how to create tables which use a combination of attributes as the primary key.

For example, i want to create a a table where the combination of Date, Time and Location is the primary key.

Thanx

Hi,

You have to select this combination of attributes to the respective table and press the command set primary key... or the respective bouton or with the right click on the mouse choosing the same command...

'What you are referring to is a Composite Primary Key. The easiest way to set it
'probably would be:
1) Make sure that you are in Table Design view
2) Select the 1st Field that will comprise the Primnary Key
3) Hold the CTRL Key down while selecting the other Fields that will make up
this Composite Primary Key
4) From the Menu Bar select Edit ==> Primary Key
