1
Hi

I have a huge loto data and i am trying to come up with the total count of all total combination...the manual process to tiring in excel. e.g the possible combinations range from 1 up to 49. so i have to find the combination of numbers e.g 1 2 3 , 1 2 4, 1 2 5, 1 2 6 up to 1 2 49 then move up to 2 3 4 up to 2 3 49 until i will do the same count for 3, 4, 5 6 up to 49.

Here is a sample

2 3 4 =1 combination found
2 3 5 =2 combinations found
2 3 6 =1 etc
........... up to 49

2 4 5 = 2 combinations found
2 4 6 = 1 combination found
2 4 7 = 3 combinations found
...................... up to 49

i have to do all the combinations up to 49
can you suggest a query to help me determine the count for the combinations

Hi,

Choose Select query in the query designer, activate the sigma bouton /sum/ and select the fields with your combinations...

Then add the id field or * in the last field

In the Group By under this field instaed Groub By select count...

View the query as a datasheet...

Have a nice luck and gain the jackpot... ;)

:)
