Querying Outlook Mailboxes Via Access

Overview:

I've got a mailbox that receives automatically generated emails from an
outside system. I link the MS Access to the mailbox and am using the
query function to search the contents field of the mailbox.

Problem:

I am able to successfully query the first line (e.g. "Hello") without
any problem, however if I query any word that is under the first line
(subsequent lines are separated by carriage returns) then my results
come back blank.
Question:

Is there something really basic I am missing or is there a way I need
to deal with blank lines considering the fields are not continuous in
theory?

You mean you're searching the message text for a keyword or phrase?

LIKE is your friend
SELELCT ...
FROM...
WHERE MyField LIKE '*WORD*';

will return all records containing "WORD". Is that what you mean?

Put your cursor in a result field and hit Shift+F2. Perhaps it's only
showing you the first line, but the rest is also there.
