Passing an varying number of variables to a query

Hi,

I have a textbox on a form
Currently the user is required to enter a single character

Valid entries are: 1, 2, 3 or *
Each represents a level to be displayed

Currently either 1, 2, 3 or all work, but what I would like to be able to do is to be able to pass combinations of the numbers to the query.

For example, I wish to view levels 1 and 2 only in a single report but not 3.

The issue I am currently having is when txtbox.value is looked up in the query it returns the whole contents as a string and as such will only match when a single character is entered.

I hope someone has some suggestions.

TIA

Hi,

If you include like in your query you will be able to use all wildcards!

Thanks for the response, but it turns out that the brief I was working to was wrong, and therefore the requirements of the query were also.

Instead of selecting a level, the level selected is a max level - its all working now.
