export to tab-delimited file adds to time to date field

ZBV
I have a date/time field which only contains the date. When I export the
table to a tab-delimited file, the text file always contains not only
the date but also the time (something like 09/22/20007 00:00). Is there
any way to make it only export the date?

Thanks.

Export a query that uses the Format function to translate the date
stored in the table into a mm/dd/yyyy string.
