Creating a Subform

I am using Access 2003 and am having difficulty creating a subform that
will save records associated with a particular parent record....

The error message I receive pertains to indexes, relationships, etc...

Thanks!

You have your main form done, right?
Is there a field in the table/query your subform is based on that links
it to the other (parent) table? This should be set in the relationships
window. Then once you create the subform, drop it into the main form
in design view. Set the LinkChild and LinkMaster fields and you should
be good to go.

What are these LinkChild and LinkMaster fields ?

yes,

what are these LinkChild and LinkMaster fields?

They establish the relationship?....

In my case each Faciliy Name has numerous Locations associated with
it.......

If you establish a relationship between the two tables in the
Relationships window, the forms you build inherit the relationships.
Join the two forms on the field in common. If they don't have one,
then there's your problem. Tear apart Northwind and look at all the
forms with subforms. They wrote the software, so they should know how
to provide good examples.
