'delete event' in tables?

Hi,

I'd just like to know how to catch the delete event for tables. In other words, how can I tell Access to do something first before deleting records in tables..I know that there is a delete event for forms, is there a same event for tables?

In fact for the tables I think NO! But for the queries that use tables there is one or two properties that you can try!

Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.AfterDelConfirm
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.AfterUpdate
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.AllowDeletions
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.AllowEdits
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.BeforeDelConfir m
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.BeforeUpdate
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.DataChange

If you try some of those property, I'm curious to know what happens! Please tell us! For me it's very interesting!
Thank you!

Tables are for storage only. How are these records being deleted?

The way you can use those properties is the next:
Application.Screen.ActiveDatasheet.AfterUpdate="=L og_OAS()"

Where Log_OAS is a customer definied function!
