When I hit a two iron the ball goes out 280 yards absolutely straight and
then hooks tens yards to the right. What should I do?

Play the hook.
Wow... If you started your degree at 18, then spent 3 years doing a BS, then
8 years access, 12 in as400/cobol, 20 in data processing, you are now 61...
That's a good employable age!!!

Aim ten yards to the left?
Give up golf... Try something more exciting, like racing filling cabinets or
head banging brick walls...

You got a problem with 60+ year olds?
Uh, Tiger, a hook is a shot that goes LEFT. Your shot, that goes right,
is a fade (a small slice).
You should hit a lower shot that only goes 260, and hits the ground before
fading right.

Aim ten yards to the left?
Several years ago, when I turned 60, I announced to my user group that I was
now "officially older'n dirt". And, not surprisingly, received my highest
ever hourly rates after that...
It may be Hell to get old, but it doesn't necessarily affect your ability to
do Access work. <GRIN>

Goes to show, doesn't it, that I'm not a golfer, and, I guess it shows the
same about Lyle. So aim "the other direction from which it veers" would be a
more generic answer.

Well, considering the alternative, I think I'd prefer getting old.
Eternal youth? <g>
P
No, eternal youth isn't one of the realistic options; dying young,
unfortunately, is one of the realistic options. I'm reasonably sure that was
the alternative that David was talking about. bo*****@localhost.not (Larry Linson) wrote in

You think I'm young?
Well, everybody's young compared to you, Larry. :)
