Dataview subform options

Is there a way to change the following in a dataview grid in a subform?
1. Cell background color...
2. Header background color, font, font size, bold, etc....
3. lock the width of the columns from user adjustment...
4. reference a specific record in the grid to hold values for use in
the main-form...

Thanks!

Cell background colour: Tools / Options / Datasheet
Header bgrnd Colour: Not as far as I know.
Lock width: Not as far as I know.
Reference a specific record: Use the recordsetclone / bookmark
technique as per Help.

If you really need to get around the header colour and column width
problems you can create a form that looks like a datasheet. That way
you can set your own colours and widths and they won't be able to be
changed.
