Hello,

I have a field that contains a social security number, I would like to
add the character "|" after each digit and display it in a report like
5 | 5 | 5 | --| 5 | 5 | --| 5 | 5 | 5 | 5 but I am having trouble with
this anybody would please help. I have tried this:
=Left([SocialSecurityNumber],1) & " |" & Left([socialsecuritynumber],2)
& " |"

but that dos not work.

So use the input mask property of the control on the report. Just copy
