Building Kits with Access

I would like to use Access to do what I'll call build kits (pick n
pack) What I have created so far is 3 tables as listed

Individual Forms Table - This is a list of all things that might go
into kits that are listed by a unique number.

Kit Table - Contains a list of all Kits that might be put together
again this by a unique number.

Kit Details - This is a table that includes all kits with there
individual components.

Relationships that I have are

Individual Forms Table and Kit to Kit Details with one to many.

This has been working for what it was intended for, basically keeping
track of the same form that might be used in different kits so when one
form changed we were able to easily look up what kits included the form
and update that kit with the new form.

Now we would like to be able to put a quantity of each form that's
included in a kit, the quantity will very from kit to kit of the same
form so I can't do it in the "Individual Forms Table". There are around
60 different kits and 300 different items that are available to build
them with.

Looking for suggestion on a starting point??

TIA

KitDetails should include a Quantity attribute. Fields that need to
be in that table:

Kit Form Quantity

Then you might also want to add attributes that are specific to the
assignment of that Form to that Kit. Things like the date, the
reason, perhaps the person who has the decision responsibility and so
on.

That was just what I needed, now another question.

If I added a Quantity on Hand field to the individule forms table and
wanted to minus from that as kits were built what would be the easiest
way to do that?
