Problem with conversion from 2000 -2003

I understand that it is not necessary to make the conversion but Access 2003 loses tables. The problem is I have two databases that share linked tables. I have create an mde and the tables are still linked. However I have a macro that allows a user to change which data their info is stored. Any time I press this button, I lose the links to these tables. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do. Have you two different back ends holding the tables or only one. Or are you linking the tables between two databases. If you are I would suggest putting all tables into one backend structure. This would then stay separate from the mde.

I apologize for not being clear. There is one backend that holds all of the tables but the links seem to disappear. I may have already found the solution but will report if I am incorrect. Thanks for the help
