Value from 1 form into another

how would i get the value stored in TEXT1 from FORM1 to display in
TEXT2 in FORM2 when form2 is opened.

sorry ppl...
how do i do the above... the fields are diff and not connect to the
same table.
coz if they are connected to the same table then the =FORM1!TEXT1 will
do the trick and setting control source = "the field u actually want"

is there a way to view the data in a text box from another form where i
do not have an option in the CONTROL SOURCE to choose the field i want
from the other form.
