Using a pop-up for advance searching & populating a form

I have created 3 combo boxes on my main form that allow me to search by
company or by lastname or be phonenumber. (the combos are cleared after
update)

I am using the findfirst method and my form is filled with the
recordset. Works great.

My trouble comes from the lastname field. If I type in Jones there are
30 so I can click the one I want. But I want to avoid that way by
getting specific and using a pop up.

By clicking on an advanced search command, I want to pass the value in
the company or lastname field and then pick the firstname in the
popup. Then Ok(or enter) my record fills with the right criteria.

I have looked through the topics and can't exactly find what I want.

If there is a better mousetrap, then that would be great. I have been
very lucky to have got away with single search criteria in the past.
