Image problem in Search results - Access 2002

I have followed all the knowledge base instructions and
the various Googled articles but my database search result
still insists on showing me [#BINARY#] instead of the
actual image. I have tried both a relative and full path to the
image in the photo properties field but still get the same result.

<img border="0" src="http://www.my
domain.com/Thumbs/<%=FP_FieldLink(fp_rs,"IMAGE")%>">

<img border="0" src="Thumbs/<%=FP_FieldLink(fp_rs,"IMAGE")%>">

Images display fine in the form view of the table.
Tearing my hair - any pointers please
