Post Code Lookup

Is there any where to buy ( or Free) a postcode program to put with my
database so i can have a address lookup from the postcode.

If you are in the UK then yes, I have used AFD for years without any
problems.

You can buy them certainly but they aren't cheap (well they weren't the last
time I looked), search for "Post Code Software" on the web.

These companies have to buy the PAF file from the Royal Mail wich has a
monopoly on the data, if you go to
http://www.royalmail.com/portal/rm/s...39870012#link1
you'll see the sort of prices the Royal Mail charges for the data, which
should then put into perspective the prices of post code software.

I've got one I made with US postal codes.

I was guessing that the .co.uk in Simons e-mail address meant he wanted UK
post codes, I have been known to be wrong before though <g>.
