Reports by choosing date

My database has the data from events that happened in several dates
this is different event happening in the same day. this database manage
a Help Desk where calls happened often.

how to create a report that allows the user pick or select a specific
date to print?

ex. I want to print all the events that happend on 08/17-2006, but
later I want to print a report of all the events that happend on August
15 2006.

again, thank you guys!..

One way is to create an unbound form with two textboxes formatted as
dates and then
build your filter in the click event of a button and then open the
report, passing the filter you just built in the Open event.

Create a query that will become the record source for the report.
On the DateField's criteria line, write:
[Enter Date]

The query will prompt for the wanted date.

Fred right to the point, thanks a lot.
Question: Can I modify this prompt? I mean like add a label for Input
Date? like: remember to use the format: MM/DD/YYYY

thanks again,

You can add any text you like... as long as it is inside the brackets:
[Enter Date: Use mm/dd/yyyy format]
