Error message

When i try to run that method in my continuous form it gives error
message:
invalid operation
Here txt is the textbox which bind with the table tbl_Events

Private Sub Form_Load()
Dim qry As String, rst As Object
qry = "UPDATE tbl_Events INNER JOIN Tbl_EquipmentChronology ON
tbl_Events.TicketNum = tbl_EquipmentChronology.TicketNum SET
tbl_Events.txt = tbl_EquipmentChronology.Equipment1 WHERE
tbl_Events.PPVVOD_Outlet = Tbl_EquipmentChronology.Outlet;"
Set rst = CurrentDb.OpenRecordset(qry)
End Sub

Not only invalid operation.
Also invalid question
(it is *not* very clear what you mean: "Here txt is the textbox which bind with the table ...")

In the code I would declare rst as Recordset but you can never run Updatequery's like this

From your next question (20 min later) I see you discovered a solution.
The answer to that question was also to be found in the Helpfile.

I told ya once already. The HELP File, hidden VERY carefully under the
F1 key, is YOUR FRIEND. Introduce yourself sometime. Read the
helpfile, try it, and THEN post. You might actually get some work done
that way. (and learn something to boot)
