Group and Count

P: n/a
I have a form where I enter each time someone looks at a horse or our
farm. When I print the report it looks like

Date
Person a
Person b
Person b
Person c

Person b has looked at the horse twice on the same day. What I would
like to have happen is for the report to look like this

Date
Person a
Person b 2
Person c

So that we know person b must have liked the horse since he looked at
it twice on the same day
Can anybody help me figure out how to do this.

In the design of your query, click View, Totals. You want Group By
under the date field and the person. Output the Person a second time
and put Count in the Totals line for that one. This should give you
what you are looking for.

Hope that helps!
