error 0 and 20

Hi,
in an ac2000-applicatin, i allways return an error 0 in the events
afterupdate and notinlist.
When i cancel the error nr 0 by an errorhandling ( if err.number = 0 then
resume next) , i get an error nr 20 ( error with description resume without
error) .
In the afterupdate event of the combofield , there is only a "me.erfresh "
and "cbofield.requery"
what is the cause of this problem and howcan i solve this error ?

err.number = 0 means there is no error. I think that when trying to do
a resume whitout having an actual error, you will create one saying
that, there's a resume without error.

You forgot to put:
Exit Sub
above the error handler.

As a result, Access plows on and executes the error handler, even when there
is no error.

I guess in your code you simply forget to exit the routine ?
