Cannot Open/ Design "Report" in Windows XP

Operating System: Windows 2000/ Windws XP Pro
Software : MS Access 2003

Problem : I have create an "MS Access" file in Windows 2000 PC, and there is a "Reports" with this Access file, actually it can open/design in the windows 2000 PC, but when I trying to open this file in ANY PC with windows XP pro, it doesn't work, there is no respond, no error message!

For the Windows XP Pro PC, all patches for windows and office are up to date, and I try to convert this Access in different format (97, 2000, 2003) it still got the problem.

Hope any can solve my problem, many many Thx~!

Hi,
I have something simillar as a problem... When I open a report it opens very slowly I have to wait 5-10 minutes while it opens! But the recordsetsource of the report seems to be a bit heavy!

What you can do is to wait!

An other thing is to place your recordset source in the tag information property and to set your recordsetsource of your report when it opens in on Open Event! Before that is good to be without recordsetsource and will function more quikly! The same thing concerns the forms!

My problem is fixed, and it is not the OS problem, it is the problem of printer driver, I hv do the following:

1. delete the network printer, and add it again;
2. or add another printer;
3. or try to use another printer as default
